The paper therefore, portrays education in the 21st century as a total departure from the factory-model education of the rst. It is the abandonment of teacher-centered. The paper argues that society institutionalize education as a tool to reform society and create change for betterment. Hence, authentic education addresses the whole child, and does not limit our professional development and curriculum design. To this end, there is every need to review the status of secondary school curriculum in Nigeria so as to consolidate the new curriculum program in Nigeria and to ensure the actualization of the Federal Government National Development Program especially in the area of human capital development.
